ABOUT ANGELA

I'm Angela, founder of Treat Yourself Wellness, pain specialist, and Yoga Therapist.

My mission is to offer education and training to bodies in pain, so they can reorganize their bones, soften their tissues, and equip themselves with tools and techniques to address the root cause of their condition/s.

LIVING in my small hometown, 100 Mile House, B.C, Canada - a place rich with natural beauty and clean air - I have a small home studio in the 108 Mile Ranch, that I share with my loving husband, beautiful step-daughter, and our 2 fur babies - Mastiff, Willis & Bichon Shih Tzu, Bella.

As a certified Yoga Therapist and member of the IAYT - The International Association of Yoga Therapists, I am continuing my education regarding processing pain, trauma, and chronic conditions. I just completed a nationally accredited course exploring the supple psoas and core integrity with Liz Koch. I am currently moving through the MELT Method training, and I look forward to offering you workshops to encourage education and personal empowerment.

I, myself, suffered from debilitating chronic pain, PTSD, depression, and anxiety and struggled for years, reaching out to our medical professionals for reprieve. Nothing worked long-term, and I often ended up in more pain due to treatments. When I finally realized that I was the only one who could understand my pain, I began educating myself.

My goal and intention is to offer support to those who need it in an accessible way. Whatever your situation, let us be a gentle guide and support for you to digest your own traumas, pain, and conditions that your body is desperately longing to process.
